Golden Isles Corps De Ballet
We believe that ballet is the foundation of all dance. Ballet instills discipline, structure and the ancient art of dance, combining the grace of movement with the age old stories of fairytales. Teaching children the beauty of art, confidence and legacy. We teach every dancer that hard work produces achievement and self-esteem that comes with the accomplishment of difficult and challenging skills under the direction of our positive and professional teachers. The GICDb will have your child striving for excellence and humbly creating a space for growth, technique, and the beauty of ballet.

SUMMER SCHEDULE
TINY TOT DANCE CAMPS : Come join the fun this summer with any of our three TINY TOT Dance Camps. These camps are geared towards ages 3 & UP. These are four day camps 9am-11am where your child will be immersed in the theme for the week, making crafts, dances, music and so much more. Your child will explore tap, jazz, ballet and tumbling as well as expanding their creativity in different art forms throughout the week. You don’t want to miss out on the summer fun.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS: We offer 5 different workshops throughout the summer so that those dancing feet never have to take a break. Three of our workshops are geared towards learning different styles of choreography and exploring your own artistic capabilities while the other two are geared towards sharpening those technical elements every dancer strives towards. Our workshops offer 3 different levels and ages ranging from our MINI’s (6-9 year olds), JUNIORS (10-12 year olds) and our Teens and Seniors (13 & UP). These workshops are only 3 days of intense training. *IF YOU PLAN ON COMPETING IN THE SSDC 22/23 COMP SEASON YOU MUST ATTEND AT LEAST TWO OF THESE WORKSHOPS.
CAMP CREATE: Camp Create is a new addition to our summer schedule this year. Camp Create was created for ages 13&UP giving them a space to explore multiple aspects of their our creativity. There is so much more than just steps that are involved in dance and this is a workshop geared to explore the multi-faceted art forms that dance can encompass. The week will be filled with teachings from different artists and their art forms including visual arts, photography, cinematography, fashion design, music, choreography and of course movement. By the end of the week each of the 12 students will have created their very own piece equipped with story, costume design, music and a visual representation of their creation. This camp is designed to expand both the heart and the mind and encourage the inner creator to discovery their own creativity once again.
